St Pauls Centre Spennymoor, Co. Durham - Building Extension (008133)

An additional meeting room will be built onto the current centre building. The extra room will create a third room for use by groups and for activities. It will also include additional storage. Both are needed. The organisation currently struggles to accommodate as many groups as they would like to. In some cases this means that they have to turn down a potential rental income (e.g. a statutory organisation wanting to hire the room for a period of time, or a one off event). In other cases it means that groups cannot be started because there is not enough room. A third room would overcome these issues. The room would be carpeted and equipped with the same sort of technology, seating and flexibility of use as the other rooms
