St Paul’s Clock Restoration

The project is to repair and restore the clock on the tower of St Paul’s Church and convert it to automatic winding. The clock was made in 1881 but has not run for some years and is in a very poor condition. The clock and dial would be removed, the dial shot blasted and coated with anti-corrosion treatment before repairing, glazing and re-painting. The hands dial and clock would be stripped down and restored. The entire clock would then be re-assembled and tested before returning. It would be re-sited on its stand and the auto winding fitted before commissioning.
