St.Peter's and St. John's Church, Warwickshire - Hall Improvements (006434)

The project will transform the dark and run-down St Peter and St John church hall into an attractive, accessible, open access community hall, with the aim of increasing annual footfall by 50% from around 10,000 to around 15,000 (not including church services). The improvements include :- - removing old toilets that were hastily built in the original entrance area after a fire destroyed an outside toilet block in the 1980s; - restore the original main entrance facing the main Clifton Road; - establish full external and internal disabled access; - improve internal circulation; - open up the church auditorium for community use; - bring more natural light into the hall and church auditorium; - create much-needed storage space for user groups; - install an audio-visual room and wiring for an audio-visual system.
