St Peters Centre Community Garden

To provide a sensory community wildlife garden within the grounds of the St Peters Centre located in Staithes Village. The grant will be used to fund the footpath, patio, planting and awning for a new sensory community garden. The garden will extend the centre’s facilities, create a focal point in the village, provide a meeting place for local villagers and encourage local wildlife such as bees, butterflies and ladybirds. The project will transform a disused area at the rear of the centre into a tranquil garden area for the Staithes community, who do not have their own gardens
