St Peter’s Church, Catcott – Roof Repairs

The project will address a developing roof problem as there is now major and significant undercovering damage to battens etc. At the same time it will address an issue of tying and grouting an inner and outer wall as scaffolding can be used for both purposes.Slipping slates are now a weekly occurrence.Both of these works will be invisible once they are completed. The roof and wall works will address a structural issue of the building. This is relativelystraightforward and something that is faced by many churches. However, there are few churches that have had the building placed on the Heritage At Risk register as a result of these needs.
