St Peters Church, West Tytherley – Bells Restoration

The 3 bells have not been rung for over 30 years due to deterioration of the framework and part of the bells, at which point, continued ringing was considered unsafe. The aim is to restore the bells and frames to ringinging condition. The oldest bell is judged to be the oldest in the UK hung for traditional ‘full circle’ ringing and therefore, the oldest of its type in the world.
