St Peter's Crypt, Hackney - Community Centre Improvements (2484/D/TP)

The project aims to transform the Crypt into a thriving centre of social interaction, creativity, cultural expression and community support - a fully accessible, flexible, practical space. The project will involve the demoltion of internal walls to create a large cafe foyer, a removable partition will be installed to enable the large space to be sectioned off for multi-user purposes and a door broken through to the south terrace to create a sunny and safe cafeteria area. The Trust grant will contribute towards the demolition and strip out, structural work, drainange and external doors and windows.
