St Peter’s Parish Church – Repair and Restoration of Arches

The support arches in the church have been affected by movement – thermal or vibration from passing heavy traffic. One arch will require to be opened up by removing lathe and plaster facing. The stone arch rebuilt and the pillars secured by a steel rod. The other arches will have the plaster work cut back, the arches repointed. All the plaster work on the arches will then be restored to the original state
