St Phillip’s Community Garden, St Phillip’s Church, Westbrook, Merseyside

This is a project to transform a neglected piece of land at the side of St Peter’s Church into a fully accessible community garden. It will consist of 1/3 paved area; 1/3 grassed area; and 1/3 wildlife area, with raised planters, integral seating and a shaded area. The garden will be constantly open, but fenced for safeguarding purposes. It will be low maintenance, with the planters available for ‘adoption’ by groups who claim ownership.
