St Richard's Church Centre, Kitts Green - Community Facilities Improvements (4963/D)

The aim of the project is to develop and upgrade community facilities at St Richard's Centre. The Centre accommodates a number of community activities and services, but could expand these services and become even more of a community hub. The building was damaged by arson attack some years ago. Whilst church funds and insurance monies replaced the roof and completed other repairs additional funds are required to complete the restoration and improvement work. Half of the building remains unusable; the functionality of this section could be significantly improved. Phase 1 will complete some essential repairs and improvements that will benefit the community use and appearance. The Trust grant will contribute towards to community facilities improvements.
