St Stephen’s Church Mower and Shed

In recent years a small play area in Purfleet was closed. Many children now use the large green area in front of the church for playing, and this use is encouraged by the church. The grass area is also used by the groups using the church (playgroup, youth group etc – see project 140) as well as fetes etc. A war memorial is also sited at the front of the space. The church are now proposing to purchase a mower, together with a metal shed to house it, so that they can maintain the site better.
