St. Swithun's Church, Sheffield - New Heating (006332)

The project will refurbish the building by upgrading an outdated and inefficient heating system, in order to improve the facilities for existing and future users and members of the community. It is a well-used and long established community hub which runs on a not-for-profit basis and the applicants wish to protect its long term viability. The project will make the community centre more energy and cost efficient, which will allow the applicants to continue to offer affordable facilities for local groups and individuals. In turn, it is hoped the number of user groups will increase which will offer a broader range of services to the local community.
