St Winnow Church Tower

The project will address urgent internal masonry and bell chamber floor repairs required to the tower in order to protect the structure. This is essential in order for the tower to be stabilised. In order to counter further stresses to the tower, the existing six 18th Century Pennington bells, fittings and listed oak frame will be left in situ for conservation and posterity purposes and (in Phase II) a new lighter set of bells will be installed in addition to the originals.
