Building methods employed in initial construction has contributed to the urgent need of remedial work. Existing reinforcing in surrounding plat consisted of fence wire. Slabs of plat are broken and uneven. Proposed to infill void under to stablise memorial. Lay granolithic screed in place of slabs. Refix access steps. Refurbish railings. Augment floodlighting.
