works to be completed : security shutters to LCF funded refurbished changing rooms, alarm system to clubhouse & changing facilities, new gates to the grounds and footpath to allow for disabled users and pushchairs to enter the grounds and facilities free from risk.
Overarching aims of the works are to secure the clubhouse and changing rooms together with upgrading walkways from unsuitability for those in wheelchairs, electric scooters and pushchairs/prams from rough ground to suitable footpaths. In lieu of recent vandalism and attempted break-in, the local neighbours and committee of the club are left with no choice than to instal security measures for the safety and sustainability of the club and its grounds.
All these improvements/upgrades will improve the social and community environment for all, not to mention adding value for those wishing to attend sporting and community events held throughout the year.
