Stage Lighting Dimmer Replacement at the LBT

The Stage Lighting Dimmers in the Main House are used to light the stage and the auditorium for all productions at the LBT, these dimmers are now beyond the end of their working life, resulting in a loss of aspects of the stage and auditorium lighting compromising the overall production value and atmosphere for visiting companies, our extensive community based productions and the audiences. As one of the funders for this project Biffaward will support the much needed replacement of these dimmers with state-of –the-art digital dimmers which are more reactive and sensitive. This system will be vastly more energy efficient contributing to the LBT’s efforts in green working. As a live performance venue the consumption of electricity is high, this system will allow us to reduce our electricity thus saving money and reducing our environmental impact. Coupled with the new dimmers will be new dimming and control for the house lighting.
