Stainton Recreation Ground Playground Refurbishment

Stainton Sports and Social Committee provide a children’s play area in the village which has come to the end of its life. They are
seeking funding to fully replace all equipment, which is 20+ years old, some parts of the play area are now closed to children due to safety concerns. They have engaged with the community on the development of the play area and know there is strong support to progress this project. In addition, they are currently receiving complaints from members of the community on the current state of the play equipment. This project will improve a community asset, for all members of the community.

Stainton Play area is named in the Dacre Parish Plan as a key asset that needs to be supported.
