Stand and Stare phase 2

The Trust aims to; provide free and open access to world renowned contemporary sculpture that responds to the special context of this Forest.

This project aims to; regenerate the Sculpture trail by commissioning a sculptor to create a significant new work. New sculptures on the trail attract more visitors and provide an innovative way of interpreting the local forest. It will stimulate a wide range of satellite activities for all ages. A permanent public artwork requires a large capital input to ensure it has an extended lifespan and meets the needs of appropriate health and safety legislation.
