Stanstead Abbotts Playground Refurbishment

Stanstead Abbotts Playground was threatened with closure due to its poor state of repair. This prompted a group of villagers to form a committee to take over its running and ensure its upkeep and availability to the community. After some initial low cost improvements the committee consulted community members about what they wanted from the Playground and have since begun seeking funding. The Playground will improve the facilities for local children as well as those with special needs. The ground covering will be improved as part of the project to enable year round use.
