Stanwix Rural Tribune Drive Play Area

Current play facilities do not include equipment for young people 11 years and over and are currently underused. There are local concerns about anti-social behaviour by this age group. Equipment was selected by young people at a series of drop in events and will include goal posts, BMX equipment and a basket ball hoop to encourage young people to engage in physical activity and reduce the incidence of anti-social behaviour in the area. The project will provide a safe and pleasant activity area for young people and a safer more confortable environment for local residents.
