Start Community

The project sees the redevelopment of Start in Salford’s existing therapeutic garden located in Buile Hill Park, Salford, into a flourishing public community hub. The project will provide: • Greater accessibility to the garden, including the provision of footpaths, raised beds and compost system that are accessible for all. • Native planting and wildlife-zones to encourage biodiversity with the preservation/reintroduction of flora and fauna. • Sessions for the volunteers to learn as they undertake the work. • Creation of an area of beauty, relaxation, communality and of interest for all.
