Stender’s Quarry, Gloucestershire -Grazing & Bat Roost

The Forest of Dean is a UK bat hotspot. This project re-introduce conservation grazing to Stender’s quarry to benefit horseshoe bats by conducting capital works to secure the site, enable the safe livestock movement, improve a tunnel for bat roosting and bring in grazing sheep to improve foraging habitat.
