Stewartby Park, Bedfordshire – New Play Equipment (008143)

The current play area is over 10 years and recently RoSPA have deemed the equipment unsafe. The project will create an inclusive play area providing a safe place for children to play and for families to socialise using existing tables and benches improving both mental and physical health. The new equipment will be wooden to complement the existing wooded areas and the old wooden play equipment will be re-used as bark chippings for the planted areas. The play area surface will be grass rather than artificial surfacing.
