Stinchcombe Village Hall Refurbishment

Stinchcombe is a village of 160 dwellings and approximately 460 people. Most of its housing and population is divided among three areas, two of them straddling busy roads, with further outlying dwellings and residents. The village has no centre, no school, no shop and no pub. The village hall (built in 1954), the church and Dursley Rugby Club (whose building and facilities are used exclusively by the Rugby Club except for occasional events open to the public) are the only communal facilities.
A grant would enable significant refurbishment to maintain and improve the safety, efficiency, access, appearance and sustainability of this important local public amenity.
