Stockton-On-Tees Sea Cadets New Premises Project

To completely rewire electrically the Sea Cadets’ newly-acquired premises by the river as part of a substantial wider refurbishment programme.

This building lends itself to providing a self-contained boating station in a single storey annex. It will provide a small galley, changing rooms, toilets and shower facilities, a garage for boat storage and a classroom for teaching skills . It will be used by the Sea Cadet unit, Tees Valley SC units, community groups and ex-service veterans for rehabilitation. The main double storey building will include four classrooms, a main deck for parades and events, a galley for teaching catering skills and offices, one of which the British Legion has asked to use for their welfare work. The building will be DDA compliant with a disability wet room/toilet and platform lift.
