Stonham Aspal Village Hall – Car Park

Following the refurbishment of the Village Hall we want to create a welcoming and safe area outside the hall. Currently the Car Park is very uneven and loose. The aim is to create a smooth surface suitable for wheelchairs and prams and without trip hazards for access to the hall + re-fence the boundary.
We will be digging up car park, replacing drainage, resurfacing, painting lines, adding kerbs and fencing around area. There is a need to re pave the path that leads from the car park around the back of the hall and replace the access gate. The Car Park is uneven and therefore a trip hazard, uncomfortable for wheelchair user or pram. There is also a risk of slipping in wet conditions. The hall is used much more following refurbishment, this has led to decline of outside area and a need to get it to same condition as hall. Hall hire will increase if improved.
