Well known as a provider of pre-booked instructor led adventurous activities.

Stubbers Adventure Centre aim to expand their provision to encourage wider public access to the 130 acre venue for all ages, to promote the benefits of outdoor activity and appreciation of the environment through walking and free play activity provision. “Free” in both senses of low or no cost, imaginative and self discovery activities unrestricted by the requirements of supervisor led activities.

The project pivots around; a substantial adventure play area and artificial caving system in a central area, discovery trail incorporating orienteering area with central teaching / public resting shelter, “Wild Camp” woodland learning centre and group shelters for up to 385 people.

Essential to offering public access to the above is the need to improve the existing car park and provide additional overflow parking. For safety and access control there will be a new fence line, a welcome building and park supervisors booth.
