Studies to ascertain the route of the Wilts & Berks Canal through or around Melksham

To carry out engineering and economic benefits studies of propsed routes for the restoration of the W&B Canal in the Melksham area – to join with the Kennet & Avon Canal in the South and with the original line of the canal to the North of the town. The application specifies two potential routes within the vicinity of a landfill site.
