Sunny Bank Vale - Maintenance and Improvement

To maintain Sunny Bank Vale, to continue its attraction to the local community by mowing footpath verges, weed spraying footpaths, clearing fallen leaves, cutting back obstructive foliage, improving wood chippings paths, repairing fences where necessary and other site maintenance tasks required to ensure the widest possible community use of the site (including the purchase of suitable materials where volunteers can undertake tasks rather than contractors). The project will also include the treatment of Japanese Knotweed and the enhancement of the main entrance to the Vale from Greenside Lane to include the installation of new signage. This follows on from projects 341010.555, 341010.651, 341010.734, 341010.814, 341010.902, 341010.964, 341010.1057 and 341010.1122.
