Sure Start Garden Project

The Sure Start project provides a purpose built building for community use. It is located in a part of the borough that has been indentified as having high levels of deprevation, single parent families and social need. The new garden area will be access through the community cafe which is within the building. The garden will be 54 feet x 54 feet square. The garden will provide decking, seating, play equipment, activity areas, paving and planting. The garden will be creatively and excitingly designed to provide a seating area a musical area as well as plants and a water feature that will cater for all levels of sensory need. There will be access for all at the garden. The area is open to the public every weekday from 9 to 5 and occassionally on Saturdays.
