Surestart Community Garden

Develop a community sensory garden to the rear of the Surestart building in Bacup. The site will include a herb garden with small allotment plot, seating area, paving and raised beds incorporating a variety of 'sensory' plants. The garden will be used by mothers and children utilizing the Surestart Centre and will provide an excellent educational resource to encourage young children to develop their senses, learn about food production and healthy eating.
