Sussex Wildlife Trust Youth Rangers Project

Sussex Wildlife Trust will deliver taster sessions and training courses based on the principal skills involved in conservation management and horticulture to youth volunteers from all sectors of the community. Working alongside the youth volunteers will be a newly recruited Youth Programme Coordinator who will facilitate and support individual learning within the group dynamic to enable the young people to design their own learning programme within the course. These experiences will ultimately lead the volunteers to gain the skills and confidence required to be able to further their volunteering role and employment prospects.
