Sustainable Bowls

A redevelopment project will improve the sustainability and increase the recreational facilities, at the Longden Terrace Miners Welfare site, in Warsop. The Miners Social Club is being redeveloped; this new build will incorporate a new club house facility for the long established and well used Bowls Club. We are seeking the funds to demolish the old pavilion, cover costs of the internal finish, fixtures and fittings for the club house, provide a built in rainwater harvesting system to irrigate the bowling green; and a Ground Source Heat Pump to provide warmth and hot water for the new centre; and to improve the external landscape.
