Sustainable conservation of the hall extension to reduce energy loss

The South roof of the hall was poorly constructed and has now deteriorated to the point that major remedial work is required involving reroofing, strengthening, rafter replacement and repointing brickwork damaged by water ingress. Inadequate, thermally inefficient fire escape doors need replacing in the principal meeting room below this roof. Installation of cavity and roof insulation and ultimately the installation of photovoltaic cells on this South facing roof. The use of recycled and environmentally materials is essential.
