Sutherland Park Pitch Improvements

To improve the condition of pitches and training area for Novocastrians RFC. Works will include repair and upgrade of existing floodlights to LED, pitch renovation and drainage, and the purchase of a mower for use by volunteers. The pitch improvements will be undertaken by a professional company and will benefit all players – less matches will be cancelled due to water-logging, and new users attracted. With the new mower, volunteers will take on future grounds maintenance at the club to reduce outgoings. The improved lighting will enable the expansion of training and matches into the evening whilst also conserving energy and reducing light pollution.
