The hall being the focal point for the village and surrounding parishes was built in 1936. Now declared structurally unstable it no longer has a long term future without major refurbishment and renovation. The vital work necessary involves the strengthening of walls, new roof insulation and tiling. Double glazed windows, replacement of boiler and heating system, upgrading of toilets & kitchen, new flooring throughout & additional storage facilities. The provision of a separate meeting room will also be an asset and assist making the facilities multi functional, externally hard surface car parking and improved access will encourage greater use of the facilities and thereby improve lettability. LTCS to go towards structural work to walls & roofing.
