It has been established, by means of an investigation of the condition of all roofs by the architect and English Heritage consultant that all roofs (slates) have reached a stage of defective fatigue and need to be completely replaced. The undersides of the slates being particularly so and delaminating. Important church with an 11th Century tower base. Fragments of 14th Century rood on wall in tower. Norman font and Norman pillar piscini. Fine examples of Victorian stain glass in East and South windows.
