Swanland Village Hall

In November 2004 eight volunteers were given the task of taking a lease on and managing the Swanland Village Hall, a conversion from a derelict former Victorian Primary School building. On the ground floor the building now contains a large multi-purpose hall and a meeting hall, plus two rooms which will be used as a Library. Upstairs there is an office and a very pleasant large meeting room which can only be reached by a fairly narrow staircase. We would like to install a hoist so that the infirm and those confined to a wheel chair would also be able to use this room and Office.
