Swarm Across York – Floodplain Insect Conservation

We have identified 13 main locations within the Ouse floodplain project site as it runs through York where habitat enhancement and creation works will be implemented, both improving the value of existing wildlife sites and creating new habitats which can act as stepping stones. We will also develop a strategic and sustainable approach to the management of these sites through the development of shared livestock and machinery rings and in the sharing of best practise management across these sensitive sites.
