Swinton Judo Club – Internal Refurbishment

To reconstruct the main internal rooms.
In the main training room replacing the old lowered ceiling and insulate, replace the lighting with energy saving system. Board in upper high vaulted ceiling to stop plaster decay.
Demolish a small room to enable the matted training area to be extended by 24 square meters.
Open up an internal wall and make structurally safe, to create a spectator area. Take out the lowered ceiling and board the vaulted section, replace lighting system with a new energy saving one. This space will make a dedicated spectator area.
Decorate throughout
This work will totally transform our facility for all our users including participants and spectators. It will allow us to extend our training area increase participation and give more scope to diverse the teaching.
