Synthetic Practice Facility, cage and netting

Mobberley Cricket Club was founded in 1876 and is the only competitive sporting club within the parish of Mobberley. The existing facilities have been deemed unfit and after conducting a survey of both Cricket Club members, juniors and with children at the local primary school it was established that the highest priority identified was to build new all-weather practice facilities. This is particularly relevant during inclement weather conditions, as we have seen over the past year, as practicing on a wet cricket field is dangerous and could cause serious injury. The project involves the removal of the existing facility and to build a new 3 lane practice area, which involves the excavation of the ground, the laying of aggregate, with an underlay and cricket surround carpet, to approved ECB specification.
