Talich Alder Wood

We wish to re-introduce coppicing to Talich Alder Wood on a small scale. Coppicing is an effective form of management for this type if habitat. This reinvigorates the trees, allows a more varied and dynamic ground flora to develop, promotes uneven agedness and provides a valuable source of deadwood for insects and fungi.
