Talkin Tarn Community Meeting, Indoor Training and Boathouse Facility

To provide a centre for health promoting activities based at the Tarn for the benefit of residents in the area. These activities include various water sports, but also indoor gym training, keep fit, yoga, scouts, guides, cubs, brownies and sponsored walks etc.

We will create a purpose built community facility incorporating an indoor training/meeting area. This shared facility will allow rowers, volunteers and non-rowing community groups to meet each other and develop/strengthen links between sections of the local community.

This multi-use space will adjoin a new boat house to enable Talkin Tarn Amateur Rowing Club to survive, continue to grow, and more than double participation in rowing within five years.
