Talkin Village Hall Roof Upgrade

The aim of the project is to replace the roof on the Village Hall. The roof will be totally replaced and upgraded. There will be new timbers and roof tiles. There is evidence of asbestos in the roof and this will be removed under current local authority regulations. The roof will be covered with reclaimed Welsh Slates to match surrounding properties. There will be a bat and owl survey completed before work commences. The hall is in the village of Talkin and has been in existence since 1914. It was conveyed to Hayton Parish Council for the use of the Parishioners.
