Tangmere Community Gardens and Orchard, Near Chichester – Access Improvements (1776/D

The projects aim is to create a community garden and a community orchard.

There is a need to improve and develop the concrete slab which is present on the orchard site. Steps need to be changed to a ramp, metal bars need to be removed and holes need to be filled for safety. The access to the site is currently a muddy track in wet weather. This needs reinforcing with ground tiles which enable the grass to grow through whilst providing a level and hardwearing surface.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the community orchard improvements.
