Tangshutt Fields, nr Stockport – Trim Trail (50149/D)

The project aim is to create a fitness trail along the safe route to school footpath that runs through Tangshutt and Romiley Park. The idea has grown from a project we carried out a couple of years ago when we installed distances markers along the path through Tangshutt Park. These have been very popular with joggers, walkers and cyclists and allowed people to measure their fitness. We felt there was more that could be done to improve the local community’s access to facilities that encourage health and wellbeing. The Trust grant will contribute towards the outdoor fitness equipment.
