Tankerton Slopes Whitstable Outdoor Gym

During the consultation for the adoption fo the site as a QE II Diamond Jubilee Field, an outoor gym was a popular request from the local community. This contriubutes to the healthy living agenda of parks and opens spaces. The gym would sited in an attractive coastal setting, adding to experience, and so likely to be widely used. The proposal is to install six items from the Fresh Air Fitness range of equipment that would provide an opportunity for a wide range of exercising activities, along with grass reinforcing to spread wear.
