Tannary Park, Woodhouse – Play Area Redevelopment (5766/D)

This project is working towards redeveloping a local neighbourhood green space for the use of everyone in the community. The intention is to offer activities for all ages and abilities whilst also taking care to enhance the natural environment for wildlife and biodiversity; new bird and bat boxes are in place and a wildflower meadow has also been seeded. Natural play, new seating which also doubles as new habitat (gabion cages) and lots of new planting across the site are also part of the overall project. This is a long term commitment within the community and something which draws people together in a positive space. This is a project which allows people to take ownership of place and feel part of something which offers a quality experience for themselves and their neighbours on the doorstep.

The project will install four pieces of outdoor gym equipment.
