Tantony Green, Marks Gate – Park Improvements (006061)

The project aims to turn a tired, unappealing park into an inspiring and enjoyable space in heart of the community with modern play equipment, natural play, outdoor gym, herb garden, wildflower meadow and butterfly ‘sanctuary’. Much of the park’s existing equipment has either reached or is close to its expected lifespan.

Specific equipment and play choices are drawn from consultations with residents. A mix of play and fitness elements will provide a variety of experiences, challenges, managed risks and creativity, as well as the opportunity to learn about caring for the environment, and growing and using aromatic herbs.
