Tawd Valley Park Fishing Pond

Upgrade and enhance the pond and its surrounds to provide free community fishing facilities within Tawd Valley Park. Informal desire line paths will be upgraded to DDA standards and new fishing pegs installed to allow safe access for the whole community. The grant will be used to install a formalised culvert and outflow, including safety screens, which is essential for the project to go ahead, maintaining water levels in the pond and preventing litter or potential pollution traveling into the River Tawd. On completion of the project an angling group will be established to formalise the management of angling at the pond and its maintenance.
